The feeling is like trying to grab water.

It seems as I try harder and harder to get some hold on the time, the more it slips through my fingers. I can't believe it is already Thanksgiving and Christmas Day is in a month. What has happened to the year?

Even though it seems to go by so fast, this year has changed a lot since it first started. I was at a different school with different people in January, and now I'm going where I do now and have new friends. I've had 3 different hair cuts. A new model of the iPod nano came out. Obama became president. Dad got remarried, and I've lost a few family members. Gone here and there; improved my drawing skills.

What the hell has happened to it all? To my grasp on the passage of time?

I feel a bit... not in control. Is there really anything I can do to change that?

I can't help but wonder if I'm stuck as the world goes on. It feels like it rushes past me everyday like a late businessman rushes past an old lady with groceries on the street. Like I'm a fixed point in time. Hopefully I can catch up eventually.
